Position Summary
Student-Athlete Support Services is seeking responsible, dependable graduate students to serve as Study Hall Monitors. This position helps create and maintain a structured, welcoming, and academically focused environment for student-athletes during evening and Sunday study hall hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Check student-athletes in and out of study hall accurately and consistently.
- Monitor the study hall environment to ensure students remain focused, respectful, and productive.
- Help maintain a quiet, organized, and positive academic atmosphere.
- Provide basic support by directing students to appropriate academic resources when needed.
- Communicate attendance concerns, behavioral issues, facility needs, or other relevant information to Student-Athlete Support Services staff.
- Follow all departmental expectations related to confidentiality, professionalism, and student conduct.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a UNCG graduate program.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally and work independently.
- Commitment to supporting student success and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Experience working with college students, academic support programs, or athletics is preferred but not required.
