Location: Showplace - High Point, NC 

Hooker Furnishings Corporation is seeking enthusiastic and dependable students to join our team as Fall Furniture Market Interns. Several positions are available for students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience during one of the furniture industry's largest and most exciting events.

As a Market Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, professional environment while helping support the successful operation of Fall Furniture Market.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily Market activities and operations.
• Help prepare and maintain showroom spaces before and during Market.
• Greet and assist customers, retailers, and Market attendees.
• Help with product displays, showroom organization, and general Market support.
• Assist with moving, organizing, and preparing materials as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Hooker Furnishings in a professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other interns.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Schedule

Interns are expected to work Friday–Tuesday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. during the Fall Market period. 

Training: Provided a day before Fall Market starts. 

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
