Asian Blossom Collective Ambassador

The Office of Intercultural Engagement (OIE) at UNC Greensboro supports our diverse student population in achieving their academic goals by promoting student success through culturally rich experiences and affinity focused support. OIE provides opportunities for student-centered community building, leadership development, intergroup dialogues and cross-cultural engagements that prepare students for success in a diverse global society. 

 

UNCG OIE Asian Blossom Collective (ABC) is an Asian Student Club Collective within the Office of Intercultural Engagement. The purpose of the Asian Blossom Collective is to connect, uplift & engage students with Asian culture and support on UNCG’s campus.

 

 

 

The Asian Blossom Collective (ABC) Ambassador will work with the Assistant Director of Intercultural Engagement:

 

  • Serving as a sounding board for OIE staff in planning and executing timely and poignant programming centered around Pan-Asian student identity and culture

 

  • Assisting in the set-up, facilitation, break-down, and evaluation of OIE Pan-Asian programming.

 

  • Staffing information tables at events on behalf of OIE.

 

  • Serving as campus mentors for students within the Pan-Asian community across campus.

 

  • Assisting with the design and implementation of digital marketing and social media for the ABC.

 

  • Serving as a liaison between the OIE and student groups, other departments and academic disciplines.

 

ABC Ambassadors will work an average of 3-5 hours a week. Federal 

Work Study is required.
